Leland M. Green, MD

Leland M. Green, MD, is originally from Brooklyn, New York, and completed his undergraduate education at Brooklyn College. Dr. Green attended medical school at the State University of New York and performed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Kings County Medical Center in Brooklyn. He then moved to Los Angeles, where he completed fellowships in hematology at Los Angeles County-University of Southern California (USC) Medical Center and in medical oncology at City of Hope Medical Center.

Dr. Green is board certified in internal medicine and hematology and oncology. He has a special interest in prostate cancer and is the lead investigator for three clinical trials. In addition, he has been actively in involved in teaching and has served on various hospital committees.  Dr. Green is the co-chief of the division of hematology-oncology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

When his schedule permits, Dr. Green enjoys skiing, exercise, and music—especially playing the blues guitar. He and his wife Miriam, a mathematics teacher, have two sons.
